What to do on Saturday?

There's so much to do and see in the Seattle area, you really should stay at least a week! But since you're probably just in town for the weekend, I'll try to contain my excitement and give you just a few ideas.

* Taste the fabulous wines of Woodinville, WA (make sure to stop at Facelli Winery first)
* Ride a ferry out to Bainbridge Island and get a taste of island life in Winslow
* Walk the boardwalk along West Seattle's Alki Beach, the only California-esque boardwalk in Seattle
* Snack your way through Pike Place Market
* Browse the shops and restaurants on Old Ballard Avenue
* Get an up-close view of Seattle's houseboat lifestyle by kayaking Lake Union
* Rent a canoe or rowboat from the UW boathouse and explore Lake Washington and the Arboretum
* Get out into the forest by hiking Tiger Mountain
* Learn about Seattle's early history by taking the Seattle Underground Tour
* Steep yourself in art and culture at the newly remodeled Seattle Art Museum
* Marvel at the award-winning design of the new Seattle Public Library building
* Get smarter at the Pacific Science Center
